EurECCA supports R.A.C.U. to protect employees

EurECCA fully supports the press release issued by its Greek member union, the Ryanair Aircraft Crew Union (R.A.C.U.), regarding the recent developments at Ryanair’s Thessaloniki base. The announced withdrawal of aircraft, route cancellations, and reduction of operations raise serious concerns about the impact on cabin crew, aviation workers, and their families. EurECCA stands in full solidarity with R.A.C.U. in defending workers’ rights, employment stability, social dialogue, and fair working conditions across the European aviation sector.

We support all efforts aimed at ensuring transparency, meaningful negotiations, and sustainable solutions that protect aviation employees and regional connectivity.
European aviation cannot be built solely on operational and financial decisions without considering the people who keep the industry running every single day.
Together with our member unions, EurECCA will continue advocating for respect of labour rights and social justice in aviation.
