Solidarity note ! EurECCA would like to express its full support for the industrial action by directly-employed pilots on Ryanair in Ireland. The 99% who voted in favour of industrial action in the ballot clearly indi-cate how important it is for employees to show management they no longer accept further delays in meaningful negotiations.
The publicity paid lip service for the recognition of trade unions once again act as a delay tactic. Unfortunately, Mr. O‘Leary has so far left his words with hardly any action to give the unions a participation in their working conditions.
Each individual colleague is largely responsible for the success of the airline!
That‘s why cabin crew and cockpit unions all over Europe are joining forces to fight for their basic labour rights.
EurECCA is proud to join forces with the national unions to fight for the cabin crews rights and expresses its solidarity with the pilots, who are today challenging the employer.
EurECCA expects today‘s action to be a complete success as it sends the right signals to the airline: allow substantial improvements to all Ryanair‘s aircrew working conditions.
On behalf of the EurECCA board and the whole European Cabin Crew family.
EurECCA represents, protects and develops the rights and needs of cabin crew all over Europe
