Solidarity note:
Dear Nicoley, Dear fellow union members of UFO,
Today EurECCA, the European Cabin Crew Association, declares its full solidarity with the member union UFO from Germany for the upcoming action within Deutsche Lufthansa.
After two years of intense negotiations over pension funds, UFO had to learn that the management of Lufthansa is not willing to make a deal. An agreement that would be a fair and sustainable compromise for all those affected, proposed by UFO, is on the table. The management decided not to take it.
This comes after reporting a record- high profit for the first three quarters of the year and saying Lufthansa may reach one of its best years ever.
Even worse, it looks like the management is not willing to compromise any longer and don´t want to maintain the long and good social partnership within Lufthansa.
This is unacceptable for all workers in Europe.
