Last Tuesday, we had our electoral conference in Brussels and on the agenda was the election of the new EurECCA Board for the next three years. This day marks a change in EurECCA history as former President, Annette Groeneveld and Vice-President, Corinne Basarot, both Board members since the founding as well as heart and soul of EurECCA, are stepping down.

EurECCA, the European Cabin Crew Association, firmly opposes the introduction of European regulations concerning aircrew interoperability proposed by EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

With this Manifesto the European Cabin Crew Association (EurECCA) sets out their political focus areas for the upcoming years to address the most urgent issues for cabin crews in Europe.

EurECCA (the European Cabin Crew Association) welcomes the publication of the European Commission’s report on the Participatory Conference on Labour Market Developments and Labour Shortages in the Transport Sector. We commend the collaborative approach of the conference, which brought together diverse stakeholders, including EurECCA, to address the pressing issues affecting the aviation sector, particularly concerning aircrews, as well as broader social challenges within the industry.

EurECCA, the European Cabin Crew Association, is dedicated to advancing the rights and welfare of cabin crew across Europe. In line with our mission, we seek to engage Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and the Commissioner Mr. ApostolosTzitzikostas for Sustainable Transport and Tourism and Mrs. Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President for People, Skills and Preparedness to address several critical issues impacting the aviation sector.
